This work intends to challenge the idea of marriage. I wanted to spark some inquiry and contradiction, and questioning the necessity plus the importance of marriage.
Drawing from floral qualities and the decorative nature of weddings, I've emulated those qualities into this work.
In a typical Western wedding ceremony, a couple would recite vows of sacred promise to each other, expressing both intent and promise.
It's a pledge of love to hold each other, in sickness and in health, till death do them apart.
We all know that marriage can be a complicated game, hence would this pledge really last forever?
